The Japan’s first micro-brewery ～全国第一号クラフトビール（地ビール）～ 日本においてクラフトビール（当時の呼び方は「地ビール」）が誕生したのは、1994年の酒税法の改正でビール製造免許を取るのに必要な最低製造量が大きく引き下げられたことで、中小の造り手によるビール製造が可能になったことがきっかけです。このとき全国で一歩先んじてブルーパブを開き、日本で初めての国内製造クラフトビールとなったのがエチゴビールです。つまりエチゴビールの創業は、日本のクラフトビールの誕生でもあります。 A number of micro-breweries in Japan opened after the revision of the liquor tax law in 1994, because the minimum production volume required to take a beer brewing license was greatly reduced. It made it possible for small manufacturers to start business. At that time, Echigo Beer opened a brewpub first in Japan. Being the first brewery of Japanese craft beer, we have been one of main players in the industry since then.
